Spa Etiquette at 1nfinity Spa & Wellness Center
Punctuality
We kindly ask our clients to arrive 15 minutes prior to their treatment time to complete the consultation forms. These are essential for us and will take a few minutes to fill in and we would like you to start enjoying your treatment on time.
Medical Conditions
To ensure your safety and ours, please advise us of any medical issues you may have or have gone through. Not all treatments are suitable for all clients. Please disclose any concerns before your treatment begins. These will be noted in your consultation form.
Clothing
Our concern is for you to be comfortable. Since many services require removal of the clothes, we recommend that you wear something easy to remove. If discretion is an issue, please remember that we ensure your complete comfort and all areas of the body that are not being treated will be covered.
Jewelry
You will be requested to remove any jewelry before receiving your treatments. You will receive a special jewel pouch if needed. If you remove your jewelry, just remember to take it with you when you leave.
Communication with the therapist
Your treatment is all about you. Please let us know your likes and dislikes. For example, intensity of light, music volume, and whether wanting to chat or not while being pampered, are all a matter of the client’s preference. If you want the therapist to spend more time on a certain area, apply more or less pressure, or leave something completely out of the treatment, please voice your opinion. Questions are welcome. If at any time you feel uncomfortable, please tell your therapist so that he or she may accommodate you.
Undress concerns
You will never be asked to change in front of our staff or other clients. Our room is private and you will be alone while changing. During the treatment, only the area being treated will be uncovered. Removing your clothing depending on your chosen treatment gives you a much better experience as the therapist is free to work all of the muscles without barrier. Male clients leave on their boxers, and female clients should remove their bras and leave on their underwear.
Sun
Please avoid the sun right before a spa treatment and we recommend at least 24 hours after. We always recommend wearing sunscreen with at least 30 SPF. Please discuss this with your therapist.
Food Intake
Most of our spa treatments do not require any special food regimes. We do recommend refraining from eating anything 2 hours before the scheduled procedure. We advise that you drink plenty of water before and after a massage appointment.
Cell Phone
We do our best to offer a relaxing and calm spa environment. Please help us by switching your cell phone to silent mode.
Children
We ask that only children receiving spa treatments enter the spa area. Unattended children are not allowed. This also ensures a relaxing day spa atmosphere.
